When one of the world’s largest rail transport manufacturers began their search for a casting partner located in the United States, Barron Industries was the company they chose after a rigorous approval process.
Solution
Barron subsequently launched a series of precision castings in support of a major program to build the next generation of high-speed trainsets for America’s Northeast Corridor.
Results
Our investment castings were made of a unique, high-strength steel which went through a strict testing approval process to ensure alloy properties and internal soundness are to our customer’s high standards. Castings were finish machined at Barron’s in-house CNC machining operation prior to be assembled to the car-body frames.
