Our investment casting foundry specializes in casting of more than 200 ferrous and non-ferrous alloys including aluminum investment castings, stainless steel, cobalt, and nickel-based alloys including Inconel investment castings.

Design for Manufacturing

Barron Industries utilizes Pro-Engineer™, Unigraphics, and Solidworks software to enhance and improve your designs. These engineering and design software tools allow us to quickly diagnose and alert our customers to any concerns before moving to the investment casting process. This early error-proofing ultimately results in significant time and cost savings for our customers. Engineering projects take on a variety of forms, from verification of computer-simulated testing prior to rapid prototyping to metal part design. Barron Industries uses Solid Cast™ solidification modeling software to ensure our customers high quality, high integrity castings.. This critical step is utilized for every rapid prototype or production casting to fine-tune our process before ever pouring metal into the first mold.

CNC Machining

Barron Industries is experienced in the challenging machining of alloys such as 17-4 ph stainless steel, armor steel, cobalt, and nickel-based alloys. The machining of these alloys requires equipment with torque, HP, and precision which is why we continue to invest in the highest quality CNC machining equipment.

An experienced CNC programmer carefully examines each blueprint requirement including surface finish, profile, true position tolerances, and datum scheme for incorporation into fixture design/build and tooling specifications. Ongoing inspections are performed as specified in the control plan developed uniquely for each part.

Complete Assembly

Precision cast parts are machined, assembled, plated, painted, tested, part-marked, barcode-labeled, and securely packaged for shipping. All processes are handled in-house providing complete one-stop shopping, one purchase order and one project manager.

Barron Industries offers a wide range of welding, utilizing either MIg, TIG or ARC welding processes. Barron is certified to weld ballistic armor steel, stainless steel, aluminum, cobalt, nickel and other specialty alloys.

Non-Destructive Testing

As an AS 9100 Certified company, Barron supports all processes with NADCAP Certified in-house non-destructive testing (NDT).
